Lindy Point | A stunning and snowy elopement in April.

This elopement day will always stand out in our minds as one of the most memorable ceremonies we’ve documented.

As always, we arrived to our elopement location a day early, to scout hikes and nail down our logistics. We basked in the sunshine of the 70-degree April day that Mother Nature gifted us with and we were all giddy with excitement for our first elopement of 2021. The next day, the weather turned on us and we encountered below freezing temperatures and full snow-storm. When we expressed our concerns to Lacie and Angel, they said “fuck it, let’s do it.” And we did.

Lacie, dressed in a wedding gown that was sheer as the wind that pierced us on the mountain that day, had no complaints and embraced the gift of a stunning snow backdrop for her elopement day. Angel, well she hung in there, but we do give full credit to Lacie who actually handled this day like the boss she is. No offense to Angel, because it was literally freezing (and we were dressed in full winter gear.)

After the windiest ceremony of all time, we made our way to the forest, seeking warmth and protection from the literally frigid air that we were starting to resent. Tom, our reception guru, built a fire that would save us all, and presented the new wives with a one-of-a-kind reception in the forest. Feast your eyes below, it’s a good one folks.

But wait, there’s more! As a part of our collective, not only do couples get full photography coverage, they also get full videography coverage. Check out the video that Lady Mountain Films created. It is worth it, trust us.
